A total of 8 WYSL teams have earned a berth in the 2009 State Cup Championship finals. To get there, they won all of their qualifying matches. Four of these teams won the Championships, and will advance to the Regionals. Both these totals, 8 finalists and 4 champions, are a record for the WYSL. We have never had so many teams do so well before.
