The following summary highlights the WYSL rule changes and clarifications and certain key dates for Fall 2011. This summary is not complete and is qualified in its entirety by the actual rules set forth in the WYSL’s Handbook, to which reference is made.

Updates and Seasonal Changes

Roster Changes. Article I.2.C.  Deadline for roster changes and additions is the third scheduled game of the season (September 25, changes must be made by September 23).  Clarification was added that all registration materials must be submitted by the preceding Friday and that the League registrar may impose an earlier deadline for delivering the related player pass.

Silent Sunday. Article IV(6). This season, Silent Sunday will be in effect for the games to be played on October 2, 2011, the fourth scheduled Sunday of the season.

Scheduling of TBS Games. Article X.3. TBS games must be scheduled before the third scheduled game of the season (i.e., by September 23).
