REGISTER NOW FOR METRO LEAGUE SEASON TWO!
Applications are now being accepted for the second season of the joint East Hudson / Westchester Metro League. There will be no extra 100.00 charge for playing in the metro league for Spring 2013!
Last year over seventy (70) of the top First Division teams from the two host leagues competed in highly competitive boys and girls divisions from U-12 through high school. This year, Metro League will be adding U-11 as well. While more detailed guidelines for participation will be published shortly, some highlights include:
o Applicants are welcome from:
- East Hudson Youth Soccer League
- Westchester Youth Soccer League
- Capital District Youth Soccer League
- Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League
o Teams will register with and must be approved by their home league.
o Teams must have played First Division in their home league or higher to be eligible.
o All girls brackets will be administered by Westchester and all boys brackets by East Hudson
o Schedules are flexible. Games are assigned by weekend with the coaches then mutually agreeing on day and time.
o Each division will play between 8 and 10 matches.
o The home team will pay the officials in accordance with their existing practices.
o Champions will be recognized by their home leagues.
o Formal games operating procedures and rules are being finalized and will be distributed shortly, however in most cases the home team league’s current rules will still apply.
