Asphalt Green is located between 90th and 92nd Streets and York Ave in Manhattan. The entrance to the Field is on 90th Street, walk east towards East End Ave (and the East River).

 

CARPOOLING IS RECOMMENDED TO SAVE ON PARKING AND TOLLS

 

From the North: Take the Major Deegan Expressway or Bruckner Expressway to the Triborough Bridge. Go through the toll booths ($4.50 toll) and bear left onto the FDR Drive south. Exit at 96th Street and continue straight to York Ave.

 

From the North without paying the toll:  Take the Major Deegan Expressway to Exit 3 (Madison Ave Bridge Exit right past Yankee Stadium).  At the end of exit ramp go straight through the stoplight and continue straight.  At the next stoplight bear right onto the 3rd Avenue Bridge.  Stay in the right lane and take the FDR Drive south exit.  Continue on FDR Drive south to the 96th Street Exit and continue straight to York Ave.

 

PARKING: There is street parking on Sundays and it is first come, first serve. There is a lot called Champion Park available on weekends for $6.75 plus tax between 6 AM and 6 PM, the lot is directly across from the Murphy Center Entrance at 555 East 90th (also the entrance for Field) between York Ave and East End Ave. Other parking facilities nearby include The Andover Garage at 1675 York Ave between 88th/89th Streets and The Hamilton Garage at 1735 York Ave between 89th/90th Streets.
